- Shop Clients - businesses and individuals who subscribe to GarageArc and use the platform to manage shop operations.
- Authorized Users - employees, service advisors, and technicians added to a Client account.
- End Customers - vehicle owners and customers whose information is entered into GarageArc by our Clients.
- Website Visitors - anyone who visits garagearc.com without creating an account.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Business and contact information - shop name, business address, phone number, email address, and tax ID.
- Account credentials - username, password stored in hashed form, and security settings.
- Billing information - payment method details, billing address, and transaction history. Payment card data is processed by PCI-DSS certified payment partners and is not stored on GarageArc servers.
- Profile information - name, role, and contact information of authorized users.
- Customer records entered by Clients - vehicle owner names, contact details, vehicle information, service history, and repair orders.
- Communications - messages sent to our support team, feedback submissions, and survey responses.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage data - pages visited, features used, session duration, and actions taken within the platform.
- Device and browser information - IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and screen resolution.
- Log data - access times, referring URLs, and error logs.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

- Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan.

- Consent protection - Opt-in data and consent for text messaging will not be shared with third parties. This exclusion applies even where this Privacy Policy discusses service providers, integrations, affiliates, or operational support partners.
